This past weekend we went to the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. This is the first time I had been, I always avoided them because of their treatment of animals and honestly I didn't feel okay going but I wanted to spend the time with my son and hubby. I know the circus is known for their large animals and that is a big draw but do you really need to make an elephant sit up like a puppy? Honestly I think it's ridiculous! I had a hard time watching that part.
Aside from that the show was pretty good- I think the "humans" are more funny than any animal. Don't get me started on the overpriced toys and treats!!
I snapped a few shots- you're not allowed to photograph during the actual show. I did sneak one in at the end - it's a bit blurry though.
