jane market bag

My friend just had a birthday and now that she's received her present I can blog about it!  I discovered this pattern via another friend's blog and thought I would try it out...the Jane Market Bag.  Since I'm not the greatest seamstress I always stress and sweat my way through sewing projects.  Fabric is so pricey and while I'm very well acquainted with my seam ripper I don't want to have to use it all the time or ruin the fabric!

Anyways...I think they turned out pretty cute.  If you'd like to purchase the pattern you can find it here.  The bags are much bigger then I expected and will hold a lot of items.  I might have to make some for myself!
